The purpose of the Mountain States Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association is to provide a regional forum for the exchange and review of information related to the causes, effects, management, long-term impacts, and solutions for soil erosion, vegetation establishment and sediment control in the mountain states of Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. The active participation of government officials, academic leaders, researchers, manufacturers, consultants and contractors represents the diverse resources that will be available to members of the Mountain States Chapter.
