South America: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela. Central America and Caribbean: Belize, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico. North America: Mexico. Europe: Portugal and Spain.

The IberoAmerican Chapter of the IECA includes the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, Belize, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Trinidad, Tobago, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico. Portugal and Spain. The Chapter began with regional technical-academic activities in 2002 in Bucaramanga, Colombia, with the organization of the First Latin American Symposium on Erosion Control.
